The Department of Basic Science and Language has been offering a variety of courses since its establishment in 2006.The courses are intuitive and designed to develop the students ‘ communicative skills for fulfilling academic and professional requirements. The Department aims to impart knowledge, ideas and concepts in the technicalities of proper pronunciation, structure, appropriate use and style of the English Language as well as the application areas of English communication. The English major provides a foundation in humanistic knowledge important to all students those planning to study and seek careers in education, law, communications and business. In undergraduate programme, seven theory courses and four practical courses are offered under all faculties. Students must accomplish courses in one/two semesters to complete the requirements of Honor’s Degree.
