Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Islam Siddiqui was born on the thirty first day of December of 1977 in Vill: Domrakandi, P.O: Komorpur, Faridpur, Bangladesh. He is the second child (four brothers and two sisters) of the Md. Abul Hossain and Sahara Begum. He attended primary and secondary education at Domrakandi Govt. Primary School and Domrakandi High School, Faridpur from 1982 to 1992. In 1994, he completed his higher secondary education in science from Govt. Rajendra University College, Faridpur. He obtained Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh in 1998 (held in 2000) and secured first class and Master of Science in Anatomy in December 2002 and secured first class first position and PhD in Molecular Biology from the same university. In the very first, he employed as Veterinary surgeon at District Veterinary Hospital, Shariatpur under the Department of Livestock Services belongs to Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Govt. of Peoples republic of Bangladesh. In July 2003, the Sylhet Agricultural University employed him as a lecturer in the Dept. of anatomy & Histology and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2004 and Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2017. So far he published 30 scientific articles in various national and international journals. In 2007, he married with Dr. Sharifunnessa Moonmoon. He blessed with two daughters , Mumtaha Ashfi and Muntaha Arisha.
