Biography

Biography: MOHAMMAD YOUSUF MIAH holds PhD in Poultry Science from the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. His primary research interests include Nutritional Biotechnology, Poultry Nutrition, Heat Stress of Chicken, and insect meal on meat quality. He published more than 50 papers in reputed ISI and Scopus indexed journals. He also has been serving as an editorial board member of several reputed journals. He attended the ‘Erasmus+ Fellowship Programm (Teaching) funded by European Commission Fellowship Program 2017 and 2019’ at Padova University, Italy, after a selection based on teaching excellence, and mobility. He successfully completed 10 research projects including the grants provided by the European Commission, and Ministry of Education, Bangladesh and DSM, Switzerland, and Evonik, Singapore. He was an Academic Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Inter-institutional Agreement within the framework of International Credit Mobility with Partner Countries. (Padova University, Italy and Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh), from 2016/2017 to 2018/2019 (Three years). Dr. Yousuf was a member of the European Federation of Biotechnology, and the International network for family poultry development (INFPD), Rome, Italy. He has 18 years experience of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate classes in the national and international levels. Currently, Dr. Yousuf is serving as a Professor in the Department of Poultry Science, at Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He served as Chairman of the Department of Poultry Science, Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh from January 2017 to January 2019. He taught also MSc. Students in the Department of Animal Medicine, Production and Health, Padova University, Italy in 2015. He presented his research work in Italy and Bangladesh.
