Noor-A-Jannath Tania is currently an Assistant Professor, English, Department of Basic Science & Language at Sylhet Agricultural University. She studied B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in English at ShahJalal University of Science & Technology. She worked as a Lecturer in the Department of English at Sylhet International University from 17 April, 2010 to 31 March, 2012. She joined as a Lecturer, English in the Department of Basic Science and Language at Sylhet Agricultural University on 02 April, 2012. Noor-A-Jannath Tania took up her present post as an Assistant Professor, English in the Department of Basic Science and Language at Sylhet Agricultural University on 02 April 2013. Her research and teaching interests are predominantly in nineteenth and twentieth-century literature and culture, including life-writing, modernism, Virginia Woolf and Bloomsbury culture, contemporary fiction, literature and film. She has contributed to many articles in learned journals on Earnest Hemingway, Emily Bronte, Virginia Woolf, Second Language, Foreign Language, Feminism and Stream of Consciousness. For over seven years, she has been teaching English language and literature. She teaches undergraduate courses at the university.
