Kamrun Nahar Mousomi, from Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh, was born in 1990. Among three siblings, she is the second child of Md. Abdur Rob and Layla Nur. Her childhood was in Ramgarh Upazila under the district of Khagrachari Hill Tracts. She was there until she passed the secondary school certificate examination in 2006 from Ramgarh Girls High School. Then she moved to her hometown Comilla to do the higher secondary school certificate examination from Cantonment College, Comilla. In 2014, she completed B.Sc.Ag.(Hons.) degree from Sylhet Agricultural University under the Faculty of Agriculture, having the highest CGPA among all regular students of her university. For this reason she was awarded to Chancellor Gold Medal Award, Prime Minister Gold Medal Award, and University Award for Excellence. Then in 2016, she did her MS in Agricultural Chemistry from the same university. She worked as a NST fellow under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). She started her job carrier as Research Associate in a project at her university. From 20th December 2018 to now, she is serving as a Faculty Member in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
