Moumita Das is coming from Habiganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh. She was born in 28th December, 1989. She admitted in Sylhet Agricultural University as an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences and achieved DVM degree in 2014. Later she obtained her Master degree in Epidemiology and Public Health from the same institution in 2017. After completing Master’s program DR. Moumita was seeking for a scholarship abroad and managed Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree program on “Infectious Disease and One Health” which she continued up to December 2019. But in order to join as a faculty in Sylhet Agricultural University she postponed the program. She joined as a Lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at 20th December, 2019. At the time being, she has engaged herself with several research works. DR. Moumita wants to focus on zoonotic and infectious diseases, food hazards and food safety, risk analysis and so on.
