Md. Mukthar Mia was born in 1990 in Habiganj, Bangladesh. He passed SSC (2006) and HSC (2008) examination under Sylhet board. After that he admitted in Faculty of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences (FVABS) of Sylhet Agricultural University as an undergraduate student and achieved his DVM degree in 2015. After completing his DVM degree he was passed Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam and appointed as a veterinary surgeon. Then he received his Master degree in Poultry Science from the same University in 2018. He joined as a faculty member in Poultry Science Dept. in lecturer position at 20th December, 2018. He worked as a team member for several research project of department and currently involve with research works. DR. Mukthar wants to devote himself as researcher on Poultry nutrition, Poultry microbiota, zoonotic diseases, wildlife disease ecology, vaccine development and one health issues, infectious diseases and molecular epidemiology, meta-analysis and so on. At present, he is working as an Assistant professor of Poultry Science at the Department of Poultry Science, Sylhet Agricultural University.
