Biography

Mr. FOEAZ AHMED, an enthusiastic researcher and young molecular biologist, started his career as a Lecturer on January 2021 at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in 2018 and a Master of Science in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (Molecular Biotechnology) in 2020, both from Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He was a student of the 1st Batch at SAU's Faculty of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. Mr. AHMED was awarded the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in 2020, but due to the pandemic, he was unable to attend the program. During his graduate studies, he received a National Science and Technology fellowship. In 2022, Mr. AHMED was awarded a grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology (R&D) for his exceptional research proposal, where he is serving as the Principal Investigator. Mr. FOEAZ AHMED teaches courses in Molecular Biology, Proteomics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Techniques in Molecular Biology, Oncology, and Molecular Diagnostics, among others. He is also supervising a number of undergrad students in their Seminar and Project Works. His scientific interests include, but are not limited to, Molecular Biology, Molecular Pathobiology, Cancer Biology, Multidrug Resistance, Regenerative Medicine, Genome Editing, and Bioinformatics. Mr. Ahmed has published a number of research papers in journals with peer review, while others are now being reviewed.
