Md. Hafizur Rahman was born on July 21, 1992, in Tangail, Bangladesh. He completed his M.Sc. in Agricultural Construction and Environmental Engineering (ACEE) in February 2019 and his B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering in 2016 from Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet-3100. Because of his strong passion for teaching and research, he joined ACEE Department, at Sylhet Agricultural University as a Lecturer in 2021. Mr. Rahman has been awarded the “Prime Minister Gold Medal Award” in 2016 and "The University award for excellence" in 2017 for his outstanding result in the B.Sc. program. He has also been awarded the “UGC Merit Scholarship” in 2016 for securing the highest CGPA in B.Sc. Mr. Rahman has been working as a Research Associate from 14/05/2017 to 30/09/2018 under the project titled “Development of a Sustainable Agricultural Risk Management Technology in Areas Affected by Flash Flood Using Numerical Climate Modeling Data Analysis”. Recently he has been completed his first research project as a PI entitled “Impact of Climate Change on orange (Citrus Sinensis) in Sylhet”. Mr. Rahman also has been selected as a Co-PI for another research topic entitled “Multi-compartment (surface water, sediment, and biota) investigation on microplastics in Surma river, Bangladesh”. He has a strong interest in working on Climate Change and Waste Management.
