At first, the students have to apply to
the Registrar of the university through the duly filled prescribed forms and scanned
copies of all required documents by email (registrar@sau.ac.bd; academicsection@sau.ac.bd). Application form,
eligibility for admission, admission requirements and procedure for admission
applications for international students to seek admission at SAU can be
downloaded from the university website; https://sau.ac.bd/administration/page/270.
All the documents of the candidates will
be sent to the Evaluation Committee of the university. The Evaluation Committee
will take the online admission test of the applicants after informing the date
and time. Eligible applicants will be issued a provisional acceptance letter by
the university authority for provisional admission.
After
receiving the offer letter, the eligible candidate has to apply for admission
in the prescribed form through the Bangladesh Embassy in his/her country. The
prescribed form has to be filled out properly and submitted along with required
documents to the Bangladeshi Embassy in his/her country.
After receiving the application form to
the Sylhet Agricultural University through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Peoples’ Republic of
Bangladesh, the candidate will be given a final letter for admission. After
receiving the final letter, the candidate has to complete the admission process
by appearing in person at Sylhet Agricultural University on the scheduled date.
