On December 19, 2023, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) and Queen's Healthcare, Sylhet (QHL). The ceremony took place at the Vice Chancellor Conference Room, SAU, marking a pivotal collaboration between the academic institution and the healthcare service provider. The MoU was signed by Md. Badrul Islam, Registrar of SAU, and Fahim Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director of QHL, acting on behalf of their respective institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by esteemed individuals, including Prof. Dr. MD. Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Vice Chancellor of SAU, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event witnessed the presence of Deans from various faculties, Directors of several departments, as well as faculties and officials from SAU. Representatives and officials from Queen's Healthcare, Sylhet were also in attendance. Dr. Tilak Chandra Nath, Director of External Affairs at SAU, directed the signing ceremony. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, SAU community members are set to benefit from special discounts and priority services for a wide range of healthcare services provided by Queen's Healthcare, Sylhet.
