I received my BSc (2011) and M.S. (2013) in Mathematics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology
, Bangladesh. I am studying MS with thesis in Computer Science and Engineering at the same university. Now, I am serving as an assistant professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department at Sylhet Agricultural University
, Bangladesh. In May, 2013, I joined in the Metropolitan University, where I worked as a lecturer in the Business Administration Department. In October, 2013, I joined in the Sylhet Agricultural University as a lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering Department and I got promoted to Assistant Professor with Tenure.
My interests of research and teaching are in applied mathematics and engineering Mathematics. Specifically my interests are related to numerical Modelling and computational fluid dynamics. I am currently investigating topics related to numerical analysis, scientific computing, and numerical methods for solving differential equations using higher-order methods including discontinuous Galerkin methods and finite element methods. I am interested in collaborating with experimentalists in these fields. I enjoy doing research with graduate and undergraduate students.
My objectives are to practice, teach, conduct research, publish, and consult in the field of applied mathematics and Computer Science. Furthermore, I would like the opportunity to empower undergraduate and graduate students in the field of applied mathematics, including scientific computation and engineering applications.
Teaching (SAU) Department of Computer Science and Engineering (2013-Present): I teach Calculus I,II,III, applied Linear Algebra, Differential equations, Numerical methods, Partial differential equations, Numerical analysis, Engineering Mechanics, Geometry, Mathematical methods and Industrial Mathematics courses at all levels. Personal: My hobbies include music, playing (cricket and football), Reading (south Asian history, novel), and fishing activities that I intend to continue in retirement. I am a bachelor. Hope that, I will take my admission in PhD degree very soon.
