Dr. Md. Abdul Baset is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Livestock Production and Management, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He obtained his Bachelor Degree B.Sc. A.H.(Hons.) in 1991 from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He received his MS in Animal Science and Ph.D. from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh in 1996 and 2012 respectively. He has an excellent track record in research. He published 25 articles in several peer-reviewed journals as the first author, corresponding author, and co-author, and and supervised 25 MS and 2 Ph.D. students. His current research interest is dairy nutrition, system modeling of dairy farming, and the effects of climate changes on productive performances of dairy cattle. Besides, academics and research, he is also a member of the University Grant Commission (UGC) and several other professional organizations.
